Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, all content on this website - including text, images, photography, and brand assets - is the property of TEZUKURI de JAPON, or is used with the permission of the relevant rights holder, and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without permission.

Products & Orders

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time. Once an order is placed and full payment is received at checkout, you will receive a confirmation by email. We reserve the right to cancel an order and issue a full refund if a product becomes unavailable after purchase.

Rain Chains - Purchase, Payment & Installation

Rain chains are available by enquiry only and are not available for direct purchase through the website. A deposit is required to confirm your order, with the balance payable prior to dispatch. Payment is accepted by EFT/bank transfer, with details provided upon enquiry. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 2 business days.

Each rain chain is supplied with installation instructions, and we recommend engaging a qualified tradesperson. An installation service is available on request. Where installation is arranged independently by the customer or their tradesperson, TEZUKURI de JAPON accepts no responsibility for damage arising from improper installation or assembly.

Some finishes are better suited to certain environments than others. Areas with high salt exposure, such as direct sea spray, may affect the finish over time. If you are unsure whether your environment suits a particular finish, contact us before ordering.

We Are Not Responsible For

• Damage caused by improper cleaning methods or products

• Damage caused by improper installation or assembly by the customer or their agent

• Changes in the appearance of finishes over time - natural ageing and patination are inherent qualities of handcrafted work, not defects

• Any costs associated with installation, removal, or re-installation, except where an installation service has been arranged directly with TEZUKURI de JAPON

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where those rights apply, we will meet our obligations accordingly.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TEZUKURI de JAPON will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our website or the purchase of our products. Our liability will not exceed the amount paid for the relevant order.

Force Majeure 

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disaster, severe weather, supply chain disruption, industrial action, or acts of government.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
